As a boxing fan, which arena would you prefer? A 40,000-seat arena or 16,000-seat arena? The 16,000-seat arena might charge fans higher ticket prices due to the lesser number of seats.

Agree. The date is not an issue.

But why is Floyd insists on having the fight on May 5th without good reasons??

"Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th ..."

    Really?

    1. 40,000-seat arena to accomodate more fans. More than double of MGM's capacity.
    2. Give more than sufficient time for PAC's deep cut to properly heal. The farther PAC's next fight, the better for his deep cut and the better scenario for the fans having a 100% PAC.

So what's Floyd good reasons to have it on May 5th? Does it weigh more than the above reasons?

There's no real reason it MUST be on May 5th that I can think of other then just wanting it then.

Floyd has always wanted to be DLH, so is he going to now use dates Goldy used? :huh

i think pac has already conceded almost everything to floyd even the may date and the year. so i think moving the fight 2 or 3 weeks is just a minor inconvenience unless schaefer is keen on keeping the date for a canelo fight for floyd.

There was also the posibility of Floyd going to JAIL on Jan 6th *******, which was the case until just a couple days ago, thus rendering Floyd's availability as unknown.

I don't know why I try to actually reason with a **** troll like you.

    - I believe it's a temporary arena and it won't cost that much and it will be financed by a private group.

    - So you as a boxing fan is happy that you will be charged higher ticket prices? You will be lucky if you're one of the 16,000 who can witness it live whereas with 40,000 available seats, more fans can enjoy the fight live and at a lower ticket prices.

    - It's difficult to postpone/cancel a fight of this magnitude.

Big fights are in Vegas because they make more money. Vast amounts of additional revenue can be made from hotels, casinos etc.

And for the date thing we're talking 3 weeks. It works out at something like 36 weeks healing versus 39 weeks healing. Not an issue, and it should be well healed by then anyway.

    - The temporary 40,000-seat arena will be constructed still in Vegas.

    - The farther the date, the better for the deep cut, right?

What difference has that made, accept prove bob arum was full of ****.

When arum thought floyd was going jail he spoke about putting marquez in with pac on may 5th. YES, the same pac with the same CUT.

Now when floyd didn't have to go jail until june 1st, arum is now saying pac is not available for may 5th :rofl

Go hang your head in shame you ****ing slimey ******.
