Very allegorical, Moses is going to manuge 2 get the drip on Hrgovic within a couple of rounds I think, and to the victor belongs the spoils. Moses within 8.

I like Hrgo...but...he has looked hittable and Moses is no David Adelaye or Dave Allen. This is a young, quick cat who can bang. Hrgy's best 'win' is over a big Chinaman with a thimble for gas tank. Dubois battered him. And Adeleye hit him many times, unanswered. Can I see him weathering a storm and coming on late? No, sorry. I don't think HE has the gas tank to take Moses deep and I don't think he has the attributes to take him out early. I think he will finish on his feet but will be methodically and surgically dismantled becoming a punching bag by mid rounds. Ituama wins this, big...

    ...watch this age like milk....

I don’t think Hrgovic makes it to the 6th rd. What he does wrong in the ring just spells disaster against what Moses does right in it. It’s like he’s built to highlight Itauma’s best abilities.

Filip looked really good upon arrival at the event – lean. He probably put in the effort to get himself in good shape. If he could set a personal best... who knows?
The task will be incredibly difficult. In theory, everything points to Itauma being considered the favorite. He's a very fast and capable puncher who's being hyped as a future megastar, plus they're fighting in his backyard under his "patronage." Hrgovic is incredibly tough, big, and strong, but often too slow in the ring. He tries too hard and too forcefully to punch hard, which causes his punches to be pushed and lack the element of surprise. This, coupled with the fact that he forgets to defend himself and utilize his physical abilities in the chaos, means he takes a lot of beating. Combined with his susceptibility to cuts, it's the perfect scenario for a controversial disaster, ending in a submission due to heavy bleeding or a similar wobble to his usual level of performance after heavy punches.
In my opinion, Filip should play this wisely. Position yourself behind the powerful jab and occasionally throw a powerful right in counterattack. He should fight the first part of the fight on the back foot, aiming to inflict minimal damage.
Why? Moses will be faster. If Filip rushes him too quickly with his aggression, he might end up taking a quick beating. But Moses has absolutely no experience at longer distances as the fight drags on. This is a chance. If Filip retained enough health and accelerated significantly around the sixth round, the speed difference might diminish, and Filip's full activity would pose much greater problems in the second phase of the fight, when frustration, fatigue, and lack of freshness set in.

Then Filip's character and toughness could make the difference.

If Filip starts from the start, I think he'll simply be noticeably slower in the exchanges to start landing devastating punches. Knowing his physique, he'll probably get cut and end up with a submission. The fight with Dubois was a good lesson, but Filip was also pitted against a referee who allowed for insidious, persistent fouls, which ultimately broke him. But it was there that he came out strong to quickly "destroy" the "slacker" and show him his place in the pecking order. It was going great, but it turned out Dubois persevered and got even when Filip got a little carried away. Here, you have to rely on the smartest boxing possible for as long as possible and only then start to pick up the pace. Especially since Itauma is probably faster than Daniel.

I'm rooting for the Croatian, but if I had a gun to my head, I would bet on his opponent without hesitation. But I was also absolutely convinced Filip would defeat Dubois, and it turned out differently. This is exactly the kind of win the Croatian needs. A win that surprises the crowd, something unpredictable, where he tips the scales in his favor by showing something we hadn't suspected before. I doubt it, but I'm counting on it.

I'm really hoping that Itauma is the real deal, the heavyweight division needs some young blood to breath some life into the corpse that is the heavyweight division

Might be asking too much of Hrgovic here but I hope he does.
