The WBA aint gonna do jack ****........ However, a rematch should be ordered..... But with a clause...... If both Holy & Valubum fight as awful as they did back in December, they should be banned for life........ But that too aint gonna happen, either......... Pointless..........

And no matter who loses, John Ruiz has to retire with them.

Basically I think it's gonna go like this:

    Chagaev vs Valuev
    Winner vs Ruiz
    Winner of THAT vs Holyfield

Winner of that fight faces the loser of Valuev/Chagaev

    Rinse, wash and repeat.

    By 2010, we'll be on Holyfield-Ruiz 18.

I think Holyfield is gonna be the 4th guy in the 3 way mix with Chagaev, Valuev and Ruiz now.

I agree it was a shitty fight, Valuevs performance was probably the worst ever in a title-defense, and Holyfield - well he probably did his best, the best he can still do at age 46... and it was a close fight, still Holyfield was a little better than Valuev, and thus deserved to have won, and the belt.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that no one wants to see another Holyfield-Ruiz fight.

Whoa. I had to actually scratch my head to remember exactly what took place in that fight that was so controversial. It seems I had virtually forgot it even took place. Probably a good thing considering how horrible of "fight" it was.

For various reasons I have decided to ignore the WBA Heavyweight belt and act as if it does not even exist.
