It is very simple.

1. Hatton should fight Witter.

2. I am dissapointed in Hatton and lose some respect for him for not taking this fight.

3. He is not a pu*sy and anyone who chooses to fight PBF is clearly not scared to fight the best.

4. If he did fight Witter and beat him, Scurla et al would give him respect for about 5 weeks, then you would start seeing "Typical Hatton waited till Witter was past his best, peak Witter destroys Hatton within 3 rounds, watch how Hatton ducks X fighter now".

honestly i'd take torres over hatton if they fought. hatton relies on overpowering guys, but torres is pretty strong himself and is a tough, durable, hard hitting come forward guy. i would'nt be shocked if he KO'd hatton.

So what? I don't recall saying that any of those guys were scared to fight the best either. Judah is clearly not as he chose to fight Tsyzu and PBF. I don't think any of the guys you listed are cowards or scared, so the point is irrelevant.

 

on point 3,
it's one thing fighting the universally recognised p4p best and losing (and he made the weight excuse afterwards) even though he got flattened in a way no other PBF opponent has in memory...he always has that excuse to fall back on and he knew it. If he lost to a domestic rival who he has run down in the past then the whole Hatton myth would be shot to pieces and he would be truly exposed once and for all.
4. The guy is a fraud and a ducker as far as I'm concerned. Not so much in the Harris fight but before that it looked like Witter was already on the slide. The fight should have happended 4-5 years ago to remove any doubt.
