ok one more time, zab judah no longer fights at 140. his last two fights have been at 154. the chances of him draining back down to 140 again are very slim. that is why there will be no rematch.

witter is a lethal and brutal counterpuncher. hatton charging in leading with his head as usual is asking for trouble against witter. there is a styles mismatch here that a lot of hatton fans are not willing to think about. ;-)

did the urango fight really improve his standing in the states? i mean he was ****ing awful in that fight, clinch clinch clinch.

why didn't he take witter over to the states with him and do it there instead of urango? he'd just won the WBC strap back in september of '06, and lets face it, witter can't draw that well, but then again who the **** is urango?

belts were huge to Ricky when he targeted the likes of Urango, Maussa and Collazo.....he even calls himself a 2 weight and 6 times world champ, and also said Junior needed a major belt before they fight.

Of course now, it's not about the belts for Wicky. How convenient. guy's a joke.

ok then let me go through it one more time with you then, god these dam witter 'nuthuggers'!

Mayweather no longer fights at LWW, but Ricky stepped up and fought him, why the hell can't Witter do that to a man who convincingly beat him?! but hey don't critisise witter....he deserves something for nothing rite?! was demarcus corley a real p4p contender anyway?! christ!!

Witter cant draw a pricture yet alone a crowd!! (lame i know, but i couldnt fine anything else to go along with it!!)

give it a break with the 'all the hatton fans are willing to think about' god sakes styles make fights, it was intreuging to watch, and he got beat... by the best, what the f**king hell is your point, his style was different to floyyds, hang on a sec "but no hatton fans want to awknowledge this" shut up, you think what you say is gospel, but it smells destinctly of bs!

fair enough. I'm not saying he's physically scared of Witter, i'm saying he's scared of the repercussions of losing to Witter. That was not the same when he fought Zoo and Mayweather.

If he said all that, then obviously he's made loads of excuses he shouldn't have bothered making. Maybe he thought that with a belt might come a fanbase, or he's realised since getting pummelled by Mayweather that having all the belts in the world doesn't necessarily make you as good as you think you are. Hatton should have simply stated that he didn't ever have any intention of fighting Witter because he didn't like him, and left it at that.

zab is damaged goods, tied up and high up the weight divisions. if this is your line of arguement then how about this one...

why doesn't ricky go looking for a rematch with floyd?

yep, neither could urango. didn't stop ricky fighting him.

i was talking about witter's style matching up with hatton's.

but look, we're going round in circles now. back to my original question which you ducked. who is a better opponent for hatton?

but this is boxing, and so that is just unacceptable. The fact he has changes excuses to suit the time and situation makes it look a lot worse too.
Witter has offered to fight winner takes all, Hatton has the chance to smash up a guy he does not like. What more do you want???
Even Hatton's sensible fans are admitting they will lose some respect for him if he doesn't fight Witter.

whats the point in suggesting anything??!! firstly the witter 'nuthuggers' will just say, hey he's crap compared to witter, and oh witter would have killed him etc etc, its pointless!!

I'm not even that much of a hatton fan, you lot just think hatton deserves no credit, he should give evry chance to witter, for doing ummmmmm beating demarcus Corley, oh yeah forgot that!

I'm sure that watching Witter's career stagnate and die is a lot more satisfying to Hatton than pounding him in the ring.
At the same time though, it would be REALLY amusing if at some point Witter didn't need Hatton and in fact was the other way round. It wouldn't be any less than Hatton may deserve.

I believe Hatton v Witter will happen eventually.

All the needle between these two guys over the years will be the big selling point with Witter cast as the villain of the piece (purely because Joe Public loves Hatton and let's face it Witter is a bit annoying).

All the Hatton hating on this site is getting a bit odd though.

Oh please, most casual boxing fans don't know who Witter is, and he brings in nothing in terms of money...
