    I wasnt enjoying the him being a quitter, I was just enjoying him having his spirit broken and having to admit defeat.

    Well.... i have to defend cotto 24/7 about quitting in his fight, i would expect the same treatment for peter...

    though to ME personallly they are a bit differant... peter didnt even go for broke or anything... at least in his mind he could say im going all out for 1 round and if i cant get anything done ill quit, but he just did the same thing all night, which was really nothing (vitali had a lot to do with that) and then quit... Cotto's to me is more defendable as he had done everything he could and by the time he quit just physically had nothing left...


    but still im not gonna sit here and talk **** at Peter... hes the one taking the punches, not me.

    It has more to do with his pompous, loud mouthed fans who have been talking **** about Vitali and how he sucks, is a quitter, and will be KTFO by the mighty Sam Peter. They talked so much ****, and now people are throwing it back at them

    the best part is how all of the Peter-Ites mocked Johnson, Sanders, and Williams when all 3 put up a better fight than Peter did. Did Peter even land one meaningful punch in the whole fight? :lol::rofl:patsch

    Exactly. Johnson got KTFO but actually tried to land some big shots. Williams was purely outclassed but didn't quit. And Sanders was at least competitive and actually tried to win the fight even though he was getting whitewashed after the first round. Sanders was the only one who actually won a round and the only one who landed meaningful punches

    It is not disrespectful to be harsh on Sam Peter right now.... He fought the "NON" effort fight of the year last night in Berlin........ That showing of his was shameful...... NOW! What Bruce Seldon did against Tyson back in 1996 on PPV was CRIMINAL!!!

    He did his best but his performance was disappointing. A champion should go out on his shield. Peter gave up without giving his all.

    Peter was Mentally broken before he even entered the ring. Then he started eating Vitali jab (more like left hooks), got wobbled and he was done. He did the right thing. No one wants see a guy get hurt (true boxing fans).

    What I am happy about is being able to rub his "quit on the stool" into the faces of the Peter-Ites that were talking so much **** about Vitali being a ***** in the Byrd fight:hi: :hi: :hi: :hi:
