    Ask yourself this...
Better yet understand ONE thing Pac is not in the same realm of say a De La Hoya/Mayweather where they are the ones who have the say in who they will fight.
Bob Arum runs the Manny machine, Why the **** are you guys hating on Pacquiao for?

I could understand people being mad at Oscar during his day, He ran his own show.

But Manny would prob fight a ****en Lion w/Rabies if Bob Arum threw them together.

    Don't hate Manny, Hate Arum.

I think that considering the number of fights he has left (apparently 3 or so by his own admission) a victory over those unseasoned dudes would be worthless. I don't think it's out of the question for him to take on Martinez and such. Even if he lost it would be a Duran-Hagler esque type fight, it wouldn't decrease his legacy. It would be a real test for him. I don't think JMM would be as tough for him as he used to be especially at these new weights.

Pacquiao needs a real legitimate challenge to cap off his career and end all the criticism of him cherrypicking faded fighters and styles that suit him. What better test is there than Sergio Martinez?

I'd like to see him fight Mosley, then rematch Marquez to complete the trilogy, and hopefully by then PBF will have finally agreed to terms and we can see the one we've all been waiting for.

He's already soundly beaten Cotto, so no point in a rematch, Williams just got KTFO, the guys you listed at #2 are too green and would add nothing to Pac's legacy, and the guys at #3 are too big for him.

A fight vs Mosely next would be aceptable if he was to fight JMM and PBF in his 2 fights afterwards - essentially a stay busy fight against a past prime big name that will be good for his legacy.

I agree if he fights Mosley , I'll be pretty disapointed. But I put most of the blame on Arum. He's just trying use manny to rake in as much money as possible.

The only fights I really care for is Marquez and Floyd. Nothing else really matters.

    Don't be so naive.

You don't think Pac could tell Arum to get him some meaningful fights or **** off!

Pac seems to enjoy the safety of the careful match-making that Arum provides!:deal

    This.

Arum works for Pac...not the other way around. Pac spoke up when Arum and Roach were OK with Foreman, but, he felt Foreman was "too tall". Arum said MANNY chose Margarito as an opponent. So, if he is not speaking up, in other scenarios, it can be assumed that HE AGREES with Arum's decisions. Hence, he shares the blame, when those decisions are not looked at favorably.

Manny stops the rabid lion on cuts in the 8th round. ESB's resident PacDetractors claim the lion was weight drained and past his prime.

Whether you like it or not Mosley is the one that will bring bigger money to the table. In as much as Pac wants to fight Marquez, he wants a guaranteed minimum and GBP to promote it to protect him against monetary loses. What did De La Hoya just announced? "I'm out of here. Marquez is free to promote the fight himself."
