That'll probably be what winds up happening.

On a related note, a victory at 160 over Lara means much, much more than a victory over Chavez Jr. at 168.

Lara is a defensive fighter that often fails defensively, has a questionable chin and would be a "blown up JMW". He has some crack at 154, and he is skilled but...

Chavez for all his flaws is a former 160 title holder who almost KOed the lineal champ and is much larger. Regarded as iron chin.

More accurate to say beating Lara would mean much, much more than beating Rosado. Which still is not saying a ton. Chavez is a much bigger deal.

You say he is ducking JCC jnr, he signs to fight him. A guy you claim will destroy GGG but he's ducking Lara. Do you want him to fight two guys in one weekend? Would that make you happy?! Make you like him? Cos he'll do it. If theres any man in boxing to do that its GGG. When he signs to fight Lara will you pick out another guy he's 'ducking'? "yeah! hes ducking that guy aswell" You're creating a false, unrealistic, problematic, flawed view with circular reasoning. Pick a guy. Watch him win his next fight and then Lara can get it. He will answer your questions.

Lara is good, but barely survived Angulo. What will happen when Chavez Jr or even worse GGG get inside? Both have iron chins. And regarding Canelo it was mostly one way action vs Angulo. Lara was lucky to beat Angulo. Trout was undefeated when he fought Canelo. Canelo just barely reaching his prime he's looking scary good and trouble for any 154-160lber.
