    WOW, 25 or 26 is late to go pro. But he did have plenty of amatuer bout right?

    Yes he did, I think he was fighting amatuer from a very young age. But I do think he could have had a better resume if he had turned professional younger.

    I saw him fight for his first title and he didn't really have a lot of pro fights but he was extremely sharp and poised and already in his mid to late twenties, which makes you think that maybe we missed on some good fights had he turned pro even sooner.

    glad to hear it. calderon is a brilliant fighter and could never be accused of ducking. ruled a relatively weak divison, slick skills and dominated despite virtually no power. lot of respect and hope to see him again
