You'll have to wait until September, kid.

Then you can complain that Floyd is cherry picking a overrated bum.

It isn't the worst fight in the world but there are better fighters he could have faced.

I never expected him to return to the division.

its floyd, people. it was a given. he only fights for himself. he doesnt care what the fans want. if he cared so much he would have fought pac with no testing like jmm fought pacquiao. floyd is the biggest joke in boxing. his fans r worst than him for supporting his bs excuses for avoiding the best fighters out there. cherry picking fool

People say he ducked casa and freitas but he moved up to fight Castillo.

The tszyu fight wasn't a duck, it was shitty circumstances with not a big enough window.

I wouldn't even say it's fair to say he ducked Margo for bald considering bald got him more money and had just beaten the unified ww champ.

The ducks began after beating Hatton. He went into retirement rather than face cotto, clottey and margo. That was a shitty decision from a legacy pov.

He has ducked Pac I believe which is surprising because he'd be a huge favourite over him.

I don't believe he's scared of any fighter though. I think he was genuinely sick of the sport when he retired. I believe he would have fought Pac had he got him to cave on the testing and the split.

Huge Floyd fan here, and i'm not impressed with the Guerrero fight tbh. Guerrero is a decent fighter with a good story, nothing more. He's certainly not P4P #10 and even more clearly not FOTY 2012.

I'm more than happy to accept this fight if it means that Floyd fights Canelo in September though. That's one of 3 fights he could be involved in that'd really get me excited, the others being Sergio and a JMM rematch.

FWIW, i'd make Floyd a slight underdog vs Canelo at 154 and it's a fight i'd love to see. I expect and hope that Guerrero is a tune-up fight after spending time in isolation rather than a boxing ring.

Better would be for him to leave the ww division he's got no challenge there.

Lmw has Alvarez, Trout, Lara, Molina, Angulo. That's where he should be now.

If he stayed at ww he could atleast carve out a legacy against Bradley, Alexander and winner of pac-jmm v

Floyd choosing the weakest option, masking it with the guy's recent victory. Stop kidding yourselves people. This is nothing but a safe fight for Floyd.

By fighting Guererro at 147, Floyd also gets to say he is no longer a 154 pound fighter, thus avoiding Canelo, Martinez and Trout, all at 154, at any time in the future.

So when DLH fights once a year he's semi-retired, but when Floyd does it he's active. These double standards :rofl

Also, when Floyd fought Mosley it was expected to be a very close fight. It was only after Floyd dismantled Shane that he was washed up, over the hill, and not actually a risk

Ortiz / Ghost are two young hungry lions coming off monster wins. Their confidence is sky high. Now I'm not saying their talent/skills are up to par with Floyd's, but no boxer's is.

These are good fights Floyd's taking. It's better than fighting 39 year olds or marquee names coming off big losses at catchweights :happy
