Lewis can be good some nights and not so good on others. I would rather have George Foreman or Roy Jones doing some commentating, but HBO will never hire them again.

I was so irritated, I was about to cancel the HBO channel. And if HBO put this f**king PBF wanabe - Direll again, I will definetly cancel and ask for a refund.

I didn't watch the Stevens fight, but he was pretty good in the Malignaggi one- he's the only guy that caught that Lovemore kept stepping on Paulie's foot to try and pin him down, and the other announcers acted like he was crazy until they showed footage of it. To me, that's an insight that not alot of guys would've caught. I think Lewis is improving.

shame on HBO how ?!?! Steven and Direll are considered two of the best prospects at 168 derell undefeated and steven one defeat that he avenged

.. I still thinks stevens in to short for the devision and should fight at 160 or 154 but he is a power house with serious pop..The fight was just a physical mismatch , Derell a speed figher at 6'2 and stevens a stocky body punching power puncher at 5'8.. there styles are just a bad match up this early in there careers give them both another year before we past judement.

I thought it was an excellent fight. Back and forth action and two guys fighting to win on their own without the judges help. I had some non boxing friends over- I mean non boxing fans before last night! We topped it off by watching spinks taylor again. What a night it was!

........Perhaps you're right in that any pairing could conceivably be a barnburner. Every fight is a roll of the dice I suppose, but I disagree about the futures of these guys, particularly Stevens. He didn't show anything more than the most rudimentary skills, and clearly came in with no fight plan.

Power's a nice thing to have; it's also another thing altogether to know how to fight. I won't hold my breath on that one.

cool...... but in steven's defense I think he's used to having fighters come to him because he is a little guy in a tall guy's weight class, but for the most part his fights are pretty entertaining but as you saw even at his hight disadvantage his power is respected enough that Derell would not dare stand in front of him .. I just hopes he moves down to 160 were he will be more evenly match physically .. I say don't sleep on steven's give him another year..

The fight was so pathetic that it was kind of funny. I was laughing at Dirrell, he was dancing around, acting like he is Muhhamed Ali, RJJ or something getting boo'd constantly all night.

That is bull****. I feel bad for stevens. It's not his fault the other guy didn't want to fight. That had to be the most cowardly way a boxer can win a fight. If he wants to do that ****, then go back to amateurs. Stevens is a future world champion and Dirrell isn't going anywhere. Dirrell is scared of Stevens.

They should introduce a yellow card system.
If a fighter is exhibiting extreme cowardice and is making no attempt to actually fight, a warning should be given to the fighter to engage,if the warning is ignored the fighter will be given a yellow card 1 point deduction and 10% of the fighters pay reduced, after 3 yellow cards are given the fight is waved of and the fighter refusing to fight will be DQ'd for cowardice and have 30% of his pay reduced.

I believe this system will encourage fighters to actually fight and not run around the ring posing at one another.

The card system should only be used in extreme purposes like in the fight tonight.
I would not expect to see someone like Judah or Mayweather to receive a card or any other type of fighter that fights in that type of style.
