    What are you talking about?

Nobody has been more vocal than me, in criticising Marciano's most vitriolic critics.

If you have seen this fight, you have clearly learned nothing from it.

What am I looking at? The right uppercut? If it scrambled sharkeys brains or not?

Take the other 5 rounds, Sharkey looked dreadful, his stomach looked like a beer keg. His muscle definition was all gone. It affected his speed, his timing, his movement was below average, he didn't let his hands go, he didn't punch sharply or smoothly. The worst version of Sharkey on film arguably.

Not to mention, that should have never been a title fight, in his previous fight, Sharkey was given what I think may have been the worst decision I have ever seen on film, absolutely outrageous decision. Schmeling won that fight by a wide margin

When you call Dempsey a coward ,yes that is hate. Anyone on here ever called Marciano a coward?

Marciano being even mildly criticized is certainly intolerable to you!

I didn't call him a coward. I said his act of not fighting wills was cowardly

If I were around in the 20s I would tell Jack you're not a coward, but there's a man out there who's by far the best challenge out there, he's a great fighter himself, and he's the only fighter out there who can beat you. Why don't you fight him to prove whose better instead of picking on weak fighters you know you can beat? Fight the best, if you don't fight him that's a cowardly act

You need to focus less on whether Sharkey had a beautiful body, and more on what took place in the fight.

A cowardly act by someone, would by definition make them a coward.I reject that adjective being applied to Jack Dempsey. As I reject the underlined statement I believe Dempsey would be a big favourite over Wills and that he would get him out of there before the halfway mark. I'm not sold on Wills desire when under pressure, nor his chin.

I would rank Willard above Carnera.

    Dempsey mauls him inside 3

It's not about power. Marciano was a nasty puncher. It's just size and speed. Primo surviving is different than doing well.

I've been on record saying I do make Dempsey the slight favorite vs Wills. But it's close. Wills was far better than any big man Dempsey faced.

Had Dempsey knocked out Wills in 1920 it would have been one of the best wins in history, enough to place him comfortably in the top 5 all time

    :good

I don't like marcianos chances vs modern skilled superheavyweights

But I don't consider Carnera skilled. Or powerful
