    Dempsey would not need 12.

Briggs just wasn't active enough. Maybe he learned a thing or two since Sedrick Fields, or was it Darroll Wilson?

Two record owners of first round knockouts. Dempsey held it for many years until was broken and now I believe Briggs holds that record or did at one point... lots of power punches exchanged in this one. Perhaps Dempsey’s greater speed and superior technique gets him the win. But if Shannon shoots his cannon first then I don’t see Jack taking too many of those bombs

Let’s be honest, Briggs would probably be too big and powerful for a guy who would probably be a light heavyweight nowadays

Depends - If it was the version of Briggs, who fought Vitali (2010), then he wins this one, easy.

he would be more of a cruiserweight. He was close to 190 lbs at his peak. With modern nutrition and weight training, he would likely be around 200 lbs without losing speed. He was a little too big to be a light-heavyweight.

Briggs wakes up in a hospital surrounded by a circle jerk of ESB modernists led by Seamus, praising the size of his big black biceps.

Briggs was outboxed by a 50 year old moving in slow motion.

You think he has a chance against the man who literally wrote the book on modern boxing....

    Just stop. ****.

Briggs would be put it in ER. The dude couldnt even beat Botha.

I'm sick of this politically correct crap

Dempsey would have Briggs wearing a dress and answering to the name "*****"

If you disagree....I think you need psychological help to deal with your guilt or whatever.

Dempsey by KO...when he feels like it.
