jack johnson vs george foreman...

Box rec says it was Johnson's 10th pro fight,I said 8 ,you said 20 +.So I think I won that one.

 

When johnson fought choysnki, Jack Johnson was nowhere near the mature ripped 205lb monster he later became. Johnson losing to choynski was like liston losing to marshall. In fact, Johnson barely weighed over the lightheavyweight limit when he fought choynski......this win means nothing.

No but what I saw was Jack Johnson carrying 170lb fighters tossing them around like ragdolls in the clinches and ending the bout whenever he pleased. I also saw a 37 year old out of shape johnson with a tire around his bell easily outbox 6'7 230lb superheavyweight Jess Willard for 20 rounds. Johnson also prior to 1908 completley wiped out the entire coloreds heavyweight division defending it over 10 times and beat the best AND biggest (I know you will like that) black fighters out there.

Well according to you the modern era in heavyweight boxing did not start until April 27th 1956

How bout Johnson makes george miss all night with his sloppy wild swings countering with short uppercuts and fast flurries, and george finds he is unable to manhandle the ripped 6'2 205lb Jack Johnson in clinches, and george tires himself out and johnson starts to unleash his heavy artillery and stops foreman in the 9th round

 

Would the Johnson out of the 1900's be strong enough to tie up and infight the Foreman out of the 1970's? If he is, I favor him a tad, if not, George. Maybe the Young fight argues for Jack, though George was pretty weird in that fight.

Coming along at the same time, I'd favor Johnson to win two of three.

 

Do you find being hit by a white person any more congenial than being hit by a black person?

I personaly have no strong preferrence.
