    Mcvey,

You never picked a ring. I asked for it multiple times. You never could. You you darn well why I wanted your email. Keep pretending like the request had nothing at all to do with my trip. You balked plain and simple and never explained why you disappeared from the forum for over three months while things heated up! For you to miss this forum, which is probably the best thing going in your melancholy life...there must have been a reason :) Now I see you trying to claim you were recovering from an operation!!!!! ROLMAO in your face. LIAR!!!! Show me where you mentioned that in conversation in a non-edited thread from Nov 2010 to April 2011. :deal

In addition it was pretty pathetic of you to create a new account ( Boucher ) and continue on with the same arguments. I wasn't the only one who felt you created a new accounts while you were " away ". So I went on my trip. Its clear when I returned I saw your beating your chest and replied to your thread. How cowardly of you to request the airport while I was gone, it was the one place I made clear there would be no meeting. Requesting the air port I believe was your out. The beauty of a boxing ring it is legalized battery, but I can't make you get in there.

I'm glad you swore on your grave, because you will go there a liar. You know it, I know it, and most importantly you know that I know it.

You're a human douche bag. It must be hard for you to face yourself in the mirror. Perhaps that is better than the beating you would have received had you 1 ) picked a ring, 2 ) sent me your email address, and 3 ) not disappeared when I tried multiple times to coordinate things. At this point the best thing you could do is try holding your word to the forum that you will not waste the board's time on this topic again. I know you will because your a loser. I have a nice life. I do not have spare time like you do for endless replies.

    END.

The loss takes nothing from jeffries legacy but it adds to johnson's. It's that simple.

Weird. How come other people's quotes are being attributed to me? Oh well... My take is that Jeffries was probably near as strong in '10 as he was in '05... for about 2 rounds. In the footage I remember seeing of those rounds, he is walking Johnson back in the clinches, tho this could just be part of Jack's strategy.

Overall, I find it very specious logic to contend the 1910 Jeffries was anything near the shape or fighting form as the 1905 Jeffries.

I don't see how he can have been.

If however we can agree that he should have retained all ,or at least ,most of his strength during the first three rounds, how come he did not win any of them? :huh Johnson gave ground voluntarily he was not forced to do so.
Anyone interpreting it otherwise is whistling in the dark.

On another tack what fight footage /reports have we, that lead us to conclude Jeffries possessed this "superhuman strength in the first place?

Wins over two comebacking cruiserweights who were 33/36 and 37/39 ?

Or , are tales of his vaunted strength based mainly on stories of him carrying deer several miles through forests, and lifting cars etc ,the later has been attributed to Sullivan, [in his case a tram car],Jeffries[a wagon]

Jeffries was a huge man for his times ,[today he would not merit a second glance in a boxing ring,]it would be natural for hyperbole ,and exaggeration to surround him.

Is it not just possible that when he met a man of equal/superior talent and, near his size, and not 10 - 15years older ,a man who had been active and, not retired, he found himself matched if not out matched in the strength department?

He did not win any of them because he did not have a fight in six years and in addition to lost strength his timing and speed were **** as well ...
