This bout would make Fury-Klit look like Hagler-Hearns Round 1.
Would be the most snoozable fight in history...worse than Floyd-Pacman.

Johnson would smother Fury all night...unless he was paid to take him out early.

I've watch just about every worlds hwt championship fight live since 1971. I've also watch films of most past hwt championship bouts prior to 1971. I've never laughed out loud and shook my head in disbelief as I did watching Fury and his sub par amateurish skills that night. What a low point in hwt boxing history! A result of 30 plus years of a watered down talent pool.

Fury combines vast size with surprisingly good skills. I think he'd probably outpoint JJ in a snoozer of a fight.

If you've got a 74 reach and aren;t very active, Fury will out box you.

    Fury UD.

I was introducing my cousin to Tyson Fury footage.
He is a mainstream boxing follower. Watches Ali highlights occasionally, etc.
We watched Fury interviews first, and that got him really hyped.
He wanted to see him fight, so I put up the Klitschko match, and the first thing he said was "What the heck?" and started laughing.
He said "This guy is the champion!? He's an embarrassment to boxing!"
Then when he noticed I wasn't laughing along, he looked back at the screen trying to make sense of it.

I had to explain to him Fury's strengths, his size and reach, and mobility for a big man. But it kind of went in one ear and out the other. He couldn't get over how goofy he looked.

He had criticized Vlad for being a boring world champion but used boring tactics to get the job done. Then after getting rid of the boring HW champ he suddenly disappeared and claims that he might go down in history as the second HW champ after Marciano to retire undefeated. :clapclap:

In modern times JJ would be about 6'4 240. That JJ could beat fury.If he stayed the same aggressive fighter.

In reality he was 6'0 205/ 210 in his prime and utilized the dirty boxing rules that were allowed back then so no one really knows how good he would be in modern boxing.

Fury is the superior boxer,he would be undefeated with little threat in JJ's day.

Fury was better than Willard from a technical standpoint, but he had neither his power, nor his durability.

Fury and the word good should never be used in the same sentence. A joke of a fighter.

Wlad was the champion in that fight. If Fury was so laughable , what did he make of Wlad?

Jackson vs Fury would be the most boring fight of that century. Both cautiously jabbing from a distance and repeatedly clinching in close. Something akin to what happened in the Fury vs Vlad fiasco but lasting maybe an agonizing 50 rounds.

Johnson infighting (not clinching) was used both from a defense and offensive standpoint. Johnson is doing much more than mere clinching. Watch closely.
