    Of coruse its silly to suggest Johnson would win. We known he was beaten by lesser types, and on film does not impress much. The value of this thread is either in the humor, or if you prefer delusion of those who think Johnson wins by suggesting Willard had a similar skill level with Klitschko.

    It's funny how people disrespect willard so much even though his victory over johnson is a long way ahead of any heavyweight victory this century.

    :lol::lol::lol::rofl:rofl:rofl

    A Lewis fan and a guy from the UK trying to call another fighter Glass Jawed? :patsch

    Vitali has NEVER been one punch KOed not once but TWICE by mediocre fighters. Matter of fact he has never even been knocked down period.

    What next, are you going to try and lecture us on Dental Hygiene? :lol:

    Johnson is an ATG for the ever years, but he'd be in trouble if he brought his prime 1908 to 1910 game to the ring over 21st century Vitali Klitschko in my book... V.K. ain't no small fries like "Burns & Ketchel" or a faded star like 35 year old Jimmy Jeff was in Reno... This would be epic in a sense Johnson would have to really dig deep and put on the display of his career in order to get past V.K. in a time machine....

    Note:

    Screw the resume and all that jazz, I rate V.K. as an ATG simply because the man is proficient in administering pain and torture in the ring, and he is the most agile and capable 6' 7 1/2" tall heavyweight at 250 pounds or more who can truly kick a mo-fo's ass in the ring...

    Again, from 1887 to 2011, V.K. can and would hold his own with any other champ from that time frame.... I see prior greats like "Ali, Holmes and Lewis" being his biggest problems.... "Foreman, Johnson and Louis" would be tuff cookies, too....

    V.K. is my # 7 dude....

    Actually I think the defensive side of boxing ,and the art feinting and of slipping punches has largely been lost over the years.

    Certainly better than any Vitali has acheived ,since he has only ever faced one great fighter,and got his arse kicked.

    Willard fought a woeful conditioned Johnson when Jack's days were numbered in '15 Cuba.... Willard was in the right place at the right time... 'Nuff Said....

    WTF? You mean Willard over Johnson in '15... Right?:huh

    Look, the fight (Willard-Johnson) was epic in a sense it went into rd. 26.. But, a lot of them rds were slow for rest / posing purposes... Nobody can fight 26 rds in summer heat in Cuba at a torrid pace... I have clips of the fight on tape... A lot of the action was slow in many rds... Willard was a huge white farmer who took the title from a black man... That's the big news / thrill right there... But beating an aged J.J. in '15 was not all that shocking once you see the whole picture regarding the build-up, etc.... WORD!
