Oscar is a lovely man, as is Tom Loefler. I hear GGG ousted Tom for no good reason. Scummy move if you ask me considering everything Tom did for Gennady
Here’s my take on Oscar,he was my fav boxer back in the day and it always seemed to me like he was getting bad decisions and he’d always take em so well in the ring with nothing but respect for his opponents ect. I just think he’s determined not have Canelo suffer the same thing and I never that respect he is loyal but imo he’s gone too far as Canelo shouldn’t need protecting,he beat Lara and trout clearly enough, yet those cards were terrible, even tried against Floyd having one judge bought but Floyd won so easily and against Golovkin he could have one legitimate loss and one legit win and Canelo whilst having one more loss on his record suddenly gets the respect that’s been missing. Oscar needs to step back and let the judges do what they do.Whole of boxing needs to address this as we see these ridiculous scores every week now when truth is my mum can score these fights easily enough.
Smacks of wanting to blame someone for recent events.Golovkin should of known the score after fight one and imo he took the money over principle.
It isn't just Oscar. The NSAC & Vegas boxing are backing Moonelo doing everything Legal & illegal to ensure he keeps "winning"" Moo is Floyd !!
I came late to him, can’t tell you what a breath of fresh air it was to see the likes of him in the US after being brought up on British boxing. It was like watching cavemen one minute and then seeing Oscar v Mosley and Oscar v Floyd lol.still think he was hard done by in those fights as he was always the aggressor.
far worse than Floyd CJ.Floyd by and large had his fights wrapped up after seven rounds whereas Canelo always seems to be involved in close twelve round fights and unlike Floyd the majority of the media and writers aren’t afraid of saying Canelo lost that fight only the NSAC and Vegas don’t seem to give a damn as nobody holds em accountable. It’s not like you could call me a hater as I thought he won against Lara but I do the hate the fact that everyone accepts that nobody is allowed to win Canelo on points by outboxing him, that’s just ludicrous.
**** this !!! Jacobs said for freaken years that he would stop Canelo. I hate how he is talking about the judges. First of all for two years videos on YouTube ,and articles all over the internet Jacobs Said for two years that he would stop Canelo and I trusted him this whole time that he would go for the ko. And I quote "im not gonna leave it in the hand of the judges the way I did with GGG " so come may 4th he better go for it . Im choosing Danny to beat cinnamon boy.
In my view both Floyd & Canelo should have at least 4 losses each. This view seems to be shared by the majority. Someone messaged me saying that I wouldn't say these things to their face. Sorry but I damn sure would. I;d had a few beers at the time but I did say to Rock Newman & Riddick Bowe's faces that I did not consider Bowe as the legitimate champion because he renaged on Lennox Lewis. Rock's answer was to hold up the belts & say " But we;ve got these haven't we". Riddick just walked away
Simple...He has to take it out of the Judges hands....problem is Canelo's Chin is Solid not easy to do.!!!
When fighters start talking like this, its because they don't have 100% self belief. He's getting his excuses ready in case it goes to the cards.
Man, I was there in Houston to see Munguia vs Inoue with my own eyes. They saved Munguia's life by getting him out of that GGG fight. 24 months could pass and he's not ready for Canelo. Let him get by Jacobs (after he's been ****ed over by Clenelo 2x) and let's see where this kid is really at.
I do feel that Lara and Golovkin (2x) should have won decisions over Canelo. But I don't think Jacobs is going to trouble Canelo all that much. There's just not enough dog in him, so to speak. He treated his fight against GGG as a survival test of sorts what with coming in heavy, forcing all those resets, and generally not sitting down into his punches. OK, GGG is a hugely-dangerous boxer who can simply ruin an opponent - but Jacobs didn't go for it even in the same way even David Lemieux tried to go for it (even if David's attempt proved to very unsuccessful). Jacobs tried to do some work and throw lots of slappy shots - but never did he hurt GGG.
