Jacobs wants an interim before GGG.. you can't make this up.

This is the very thing I was afraid of.
Jacobs doesn't want the fight unless he's overpaid 3 times over to cover the damage afterwards.
The WBA should just look at it as one paper belt issue solved if he actually pulls out.

There's already a thread up blaming Golovkin for this of course, by one of the usual suspects.

the proof is that he isn't taking the fight. anything other than golovkin dropping his title, is jacobs ducking. he must have caught it in the ring from kid-duck-a-lot.

 

Jacobs gets beaten to a pulp by GGG. Don't understand why people are surprised by this.

Lara has shown more willingless to face Golovkin than Jacobs has.

The interim fight is a bs request to try and prolong his status as title holder.

The purse request is standard negotiating as long as it isn't a deal breaker.

Personally I think Jacobs should just take he fight and I hope he respects the WBA decision. If they say fight in December 75/25 and he says no, it is a duck. Just like Canelo ducked.

At least Canelo is now trying to make the fight again.

 

Why do these numpties keep calling GGG out when they clearly don't want nothing to do with him,those in his own weight class should be ashamed as Brook showed heart and showed if you can get GGG in a scrap as appose to what he did to Lemieux then it's possible to have some success,even in a loss theyed get nothing but respect?

 

My question is, is it highly likely that the WBA will be dumb enough to allow Jacobs to keep his belt and take an interim fight?

I doubt it though they know if it gos to purse bids and Jacobs team wins then GGG is on a different network.
GGG should fight for free that would solve all this right,or would it?

 

The sanctioning bodies are often taken to be fools.

 

Jacobs needs to test his Chin against GGG.

 

Several more questions,
1. Does Tom Loeffler realize if it goes to purse bid that there's a chance that Team Jacobs could win the bid because of Al Haymon?

2. What's the likelihood that Al Haymon could outbid team GGG if it goes to purse bid?

3. Does the WBA realize if it goes it to purse bid that Al Haymon could screw things up if he decides to outbid team GGG?

 

How about they give him all the interims he wants by stripping him.

 

Golovkin, Jacobs, Saunders - pathetic. Challengers are supposed to be happy to fight the champion.
