Jake Paul Phony Fights Discussion

Jake Paul is decent at boxing, so the weight is a big factor. I highly doubt he beats current Kovalev but he probably KO’s Bradley, Paulie, Ryan, Tank etc

 

weight and scheduled ends should be looked at together. The big man's advantage is obviously power where as the smaller man's major advantage is stamina.

There are no 260 cross country runners for good reason. As time gets limited down so too should the pool a division covers.

Men's 12 rounders been around a while and I think everyone can agree the men do not need so many division at such low weights. Less of those would be great.

Women doing 2 rounders makes it a little different. IMO, they can do 3 rounders and have less divisions or stick with two and more.



In terms of physics, it's as, not more, as important as any other stat but less so than form. You can be weaker and hit harder with good form. You can also be like Wilder and have crazy power but such bad form the good punches are seldom.

Did... did you watch Kovalev´s last fight? He is completely done. Paul would and should be favored over him at this point.

 

He’s have to chase them around. He would gas out if you ask me.

 

Kov would have jabbed Jake`s ears off and Jake has never been hit with that kind of power, Kov would have knocked a 58 year old Tyson out, Jake would have done better v the other two because of their size and lack of power but he wouldn`t have been able to take Manny`s power the way Bradley did, so I feel the only one he might have beat was Paulie.

 

Any light heavy in the top 20 would knock Paul out.

 

I don`t think he could take Tank`s power, Tank hits harder than Tommy Fury and Jake would be missing Tank all night long.

 

There’s not much in the world that would be more humorous than seeing Jake Paul KO Paulie… and that’s what would happen.

His opponent was an internationally competing amateur who won his national championships as an amateur, and Kovalev STILL won three rounds. Jake Paul couldn't even beat Tommy Fury. He's as good as any other taxi driver.

His opponent won his national championships multiple times before Jake Paul was even boxing

 

Your lack of knowledge is hilarious to me. It’s quite obvious that you have never sparred at a boxing gym or been in a fight in your life.

 

Paul is not a legit contender but he's actually not a terrible boxer. The man has been training boxing non-stop the past 4 years with almost unlimited resources.

He could very well knock out guys 50 lbs lighter than him.

 

Kovalev is not a top 20 light-heavy.

 

Still has a better jab than anyone Jake has fought including 58 year old Tyson who only threw around 2 jabs v Jake and Kov would destroy Tommy Fury who is a complete novice with no power.
