Jake Paul Phony Fights Discussion

I still don't give Jake Paul any props because he doesn't deserve this fight and would lose to any top 100 heavyweight. If he does actually take this fight he is cashing out.

 

This may be counterintuitive, but I believe there is actually a decent chance that Paul might last a few more rounds than two. I think Joshua might be very careful in order to avoid any form of embarrassment in the ring.

 

Jake Paul will shock the world! Shock it, I say!

But not against AJ.

 

Ngannou pose more threat than him. There shouldn’t be no difference in this fight. If he is scared of Jake Paul he should hang up the gloves. He is bigger, stronger , and light years ahead of him in boxing skills.

 

I'll be shocked if this fight ever happens, which I highly doubt that it will.

 

Hearn was most put out when Paul chose Davis instead of Joshua. He was convinced Joshua-Paul was going to happen and when it didn't they didn't have a plan B for late this year. Threw them out entirely.

 

Dempsey vs Cowboy Luttrell was one beating and it messed him up for his life from what I recall

 

Not to belabor the point, but I don't think any initial caution would be out of fear of Paul. If it happens it would be to avoid the embarrassment of Paul having any kind of success, even if it was microscopic.

 

Jake Paul has not to date or will he EVER fight a legitimate current top level fighter in the world of boxing at his weight. Won't happen.

"Everyone jumped the gun last night,” Hearn told the BBC. “There has been some conversations.

“Our focus is on 2026. We have a big fight planned for February, and a big fight, hopefully, against Tyson Fury next summer.

“We may run out in 2025. We were just going to have a low-key fight somewhere. If that’s go and destroy the run of Mr Paul and make several tens of millions of dollars in the process, maybe. Nothing’s confirmed yet.”

 

No doubting he's a dick i don't think any key can debate that but he's a symptom of the ridiculous sport that is boxing. Many dickheads before him and many more will follow.

Oh yeah at that point I'd agree esp as it was a bit of a rookie mistake on Hearns part which is unlike him
This time around he isn't going to make that mistake

 

He has been reportedly been offered 70mil for the fight. Career high payday.

 

This guy I work with is a big Jake Paul fan and thinks he has a really good chance to win this fight. He isn’t sure if Paul will knock AJ out but he says he can definitely outbox him. He was also saying that if Paul wins, this will put a lot of pressure on Usyk to fight Paul next. He thinks that if Usyk ducks Jake, there will be serious questions about Usyk’s legitimacy as champion, and it will harm his legacy.
