Thats not true it was Strikeforce who forced Shields's hand @185 , they had no opponent for Robbie Lawler , in stepped Shields (as long time friend and training partner Nick Diaz was SF's WW star) and tapped him in the first round Mayhem followed for the vacant strap , then Henderson Then he went back to his true weight class 170
It doesn´t matter if WW is his true weight class he looked like **** at this weight maybe the weight class is just stronger but what does he have to lose by going back to 185, he won´t beat a top WW
