No chance this is another league right now , Magee is a real 168lb world class fighter who gave a prime Froch a good test.

To be honest and I hate to say this about a fighter , but Smith was really an overweight Middle , with little or no talent. He has been to hell and back against two supermiddles who are really only regional fighters.

Magee would beat Degale right now , dont get carried away with the smith result.

I think Degale wins even if the fight happens now, and I also think he's already capable of beating the paper champs like Sartison and Stieglitz right now.

    Magee is genuine contender/european level.

    Smith is domestic level.

DeGale needs another 3-4 fight before he fights Magee.

Against who? Once Groves has been dispatched, degale would have beaten pretty much everyone worth a mention in Britain. What would another 3 fights prove.

If he beats Groves, he should go straight after Magee IMO. it's the next logical step up in class

The most exciting matchup for my would be to see De gale against Luis Garcia. Both look to have immense talent. Garcia would definitely be up for it but I doubt Frank Warren would.

    You are kidding. . . . . . . . . . aren't you?

Look at the experience Magee has. He's a good level or 2 above Smith.

There's no way this is an easier fight.

Different weight divisions. Garcia is a light heavy. I thought you would know that.
