I seem to remember previous polls had Degale as the favourite...

...then after 12 rounds in a close fight where Groves threw more, landed more and had Degale running out of ideas (as we seen at times on Saturday against Dirrell) the man from Hammersmith was announced the winner.

Degale is a good fighter and I'm glad he brought the IBF title back on Britain, but Groves beats him again for me.

I had Groves by 1 or 2, it was a close fight but for me Groves was the deserved winner.

Fighting off the back foot sticking and moving, making Degale come at forward, throwing more, landing more and on the whole making Degale fight the fight Groves + Booth wanted... Degale at times looked lost and as I said before, out of ideas.

After nearly knocking Dirrell into next week in the 2nd round, in the mid to late rounds once again he just seemed short of ideas although credit to him I felt he was the one who finished the stronger in the 12th.

The trouble with DeGale is his mouth keeps making him look a right cnut.

He seemed to have found a bit of humility after some of the disrespectful nonsense he kept coming out with in the build up to the first fight, but he's slowly started spouting pish again.

After comments like this, he must have been crying into his cornflakes the morning after the first fight.

Jim McDonnell in the press conference for the first fight was embarrassing beyond belief. It's a shame Booth let him off that bet they had.

DeGale's arrogance is only fuelled by McDonnell as he's his biggest fan, as well as his trainer.

Between them, they're a right pair of ****s.

You can argue with the people fight going either way (I scored it 115-113 for Groves. But people saying degale won the amateur contest have no idea about amateur barxing.

Also Mcdonnell was a prize a **** in the build up

A fair few rounds where both fighters stood in front of each other and did very little. I scored it to DeGale but Saint George had a case.

Neither fight was a conclusive win to say groves has his number, but I do agree groves has the blueprint not sure this arrogant version of groves without booth to spoon feed him can follow a game plan to the letter
