:think:think:good Bout agreements are a separate contract than the basic contract to answer your second question. He might be signed to fight, but he isn't signed to fight anybody in particular yet.
look at the guy with the microphone lick his chops when arum says "these guys roll around on the ground like a bunch of homos" ...@ 1:00
Considering most of Hopkin's fights end up as sweaty hug fests, I'm surprised he making those criticisms.
Agreed right so hes supposed to try and make us believe then when he illegal hugs its skillfun and entertaining but when MMA guys do it trying to secure takedowns or submissions its boring and street fightingish ? Hopkins is a great fighter but some of the things he says leaves alot to questioned.
what's funny is...he said the mma fans are freaky and in the closet and have masks and ****... meanwhile he is the one that rocks the executioner mask a bunch of different ones.
Hopkins also trained with and clearly respects Couture. This content is protected He probably forgot all about this though, being that he isn't particularly smart.
I bet you that it will happen. James is NOT a fighter who backs down from a challenge. He seeks them....He may be out of his element and far past his prime. But he's still a very capable athlete, extremely talented and has natural instincts as a fighter...he's just a boxing master. He'll fight...no doubt about it. He may lose but he'll show the **** up and I feel he'll impress, even if he does lose. If James gets a KO I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit. I just expect tht the VET and all time MMA great Randy will find a way to win in his own element.
I always wondered if there would be enough money on the table for Toney to fight in MMA. Dana's top contracts probably average around $100,000 per fight for a "name" fighter coming into the UFC for the first time.
I dont know why everyone takes what Hopkins says soooo seriously. Its pretty clear the guy likes an audience and likes to mouth off.
