Did anyone really think Toney would not get punished? This wasn't a Herschel Walker type deal where he debuted against a bottom feeder. Toney made his debut(bare in mind that MMA is a different sport than boxing) against one of MMAs best, and a guy with a wealth of experience. If they were in a boxing ring, I'm quite certain Toney would win rather easily.

I don't think Toney made boxing look bad. But boxing fans seem to be doing a great job at making themselves look a bunch of complete tits with the ******ed comments following the fight. I'm a bigger boxing fan than an MMA fan but I really wish people here would stop being such a bunch of idiots (I know that will never happen), it almost makes me feel embarressed to be associated with the sport.
If Couture starts talking **** about how he can beat Toney in a boxing match, and follows him around demanding a fight, then you are absolutely right. But Couture won't do that. He's not a boxer.
He didn't make boxing look bad at all you imbecile... for the obvious reason that they weren't boxing. A boxer cannot be expected to outgrapple a world-class wrestler and highly decorated MMA fighter. Only complete ****ing ******s thought he had even a tiny slither of a chance.
