"Would" be put in coma, "would" suffer blabla..., all meaningless speculations by Vitali fans.

FACT is Toney has been in the division for 6 years. He wants to fight Vitali, in fact he always wanted to face the best competition.
Since 6 years now, Vitali always seems to find a way around him, now fighting the unkown bum.Toney will be the one fighter Vitali has never fougght and maybe we can add Haye to that list too.

Why doesn't Toney go and fight in an eliminator and get the #1 challenger position with the WBC. Then Vitali _HAS_ to fight him. Pretty easy if you think about it.

James is whining and crying all day long, but the Klitz got their title shots by becoming official mandatory challengers the old school way. Why can't Toney do it?

LOL easy to hold off chris byrd size midgets with that lampppost jab and then the right, Wlad knocks em all out clean cold and with no mercy. they'd all be finished too,, like Brock, Ibragimov, Peter, Brewster, Rahman, Austin, finished.

The problem is Toney does not get an immediate eliminator. Goossen tried to make Peter-Toney III as an IBF eliminator but Peter was nit interested. Most recently solis was not interested in a WBC elimeinator. In the past, it was chambers, Arreola, Adamek.

Yeah, because that worked so well for Peter, Austin, Brock, Thomspon, Byrd, Ibragimov Chagaev, etc.:rofl

Because Toney doesn't have "it" anymore.................lately he's been getting beaten by guys like Danny Batchelder. Anyone ever heard of him? Didn't think so. Sosnowski looks like a world beater next to Batchelder. Sam Peter outboxed James Toney & knocked him down with a jab, did they forget that fight?

You are seriously, seriously saying those two groups of fighters are on a similar level?

Most recently, Goossen tried to make Peter -Toney as an IBF elimimator and Toney - Solis as an WBC eliminator. But they don't want to fight him Neither does Arreola or Adamek.

Except for Iran Barkley, Toney was alwas earned the no 1 mandator for his title shots.

Instead of bitching at all the other fighters Goosen should take his case directly to the WBC and ask them to allow his amazing ATG HW fighter James Toney to take part in a WBC titleshot elimination bout or tourament. Then we can see what the WBC says.

Of course, winning 3-4 bouts against credible HW contenders to support his case would make an impression on the WBC. But I guess Toney and Goosen want it the easy way and rather TALK their way to a title shot rather than WORK their way.

Talking a lot without any substance only works so long. Toney's time is up.

Yeah there ducking Haye alright... Oh wait thats right Haye ducked out of a scheduled fight with wladamir on june 20th about a week before the fight... But Wladamir is ducking him what kind of stupid shitt is that? Also haye agreed to a contract with Vitaly and had it sitting on his desk for about a week then went with a backroom deal with Valuev and wasnt even man enough to tell The Klitschko's or GBP who already had the date with HBO and everything worked out in the fight. That he was doing it.

toneys just a name at this point and not a really impressive opponent for vitali. for casual german fans they just see vitali beating up a short fat middleweight.

toneys just looking to cash out- and probably was asking for 40 percent or something stupid- whereas the polish dude- they couldve gotten to accept 10 percent- look impressive beating a credibly good opponent=- who has a local following.\who knows how big that guy is in europe.

Toney would do better numbers than Sonowski, plus have a better chance.

Good point...if given two similar options, you'd logically have to take the one who's the bigger draw. Despite his skills, Toney has NO following.
