A throwback to Burger King? He is an extremely faded fighter long past his sell by date. If smack talking was what counted he'd be a world champion but just look at his condition. Then look at his age. Then look at his record at heavyweight - its not that good apart from stopping an old shot Holyfield, who also has gone on far too long. He should retire and see out the rest of his days in Burger King and maybe holiday in Mc Donalds. Thats were he's most happy. He's about to get embarrassed in the UFC also - silly man cant see what everyone else can.atsch
Why don't you goto klitschko.com and tell the sisters how much you love them, thats all you ever talk about.
Sorry, in Germany - where the fight will happen -, Toney is not that well known as you might think. And, even if he is ATG, he is that faded now, that Vitali would get massively critizied by local media for fighting an old, short sighted, and far smaller man. They would call it "assault and battery of a defenseless individual :!:".
Can we please quit with the James Toney garbage? He has not won a meaningful fight in years he is a fat slob and he has failed 2 steroid tests. And he is 40 years old. He is finished. His resume at Heavyweight is awful.
Toney has forgotten more about boxing then all of the other heavyweights combined will ever know. IMO toney would shock the world and beat the hell out of both Kbros in one night and then eat their children! Seriously, he may not win but the kids are toast!
Toney is a promoter's dream who would sell tickets everywhere including in Germany. The Polish guy is a virtual no name who wouldn't add anything to Vitali's resume. Vitali needs to fight name opponents if he wants to be remembered as a great hw. A ko victory over Toney would certainly improve his current status.
i find this whole debate laughable. james toney is a past his prime overweight boxer who brings nothing to the table, but who is this polish guy? what does he bring to the table? the answer is also nothing. basically you guys are debating about vitali choosing two fighters who bring nothing to the table. that says it all when regarding our heavyweight division.
Why stop with Toney? Why doesn't Vitali go on a "has-been's, grandpa killing campaign": 1. James Toney 2. Evander Holyfield 3. Riddick Bowe 4. Mike Tyson Are you saying that surely would cement Vitali's legacy atsch
So klitchko camp offered a slave contract where haye would have to fight both brothers? that's crazy i can't believe what an insane offer that was! except for the fact that haye himself said he would "KO both sister's in the same night" Careful what you wish for. To his dismay they agreed and he realized he was in for the beating of a lifetime...
The whole contract thing is laughable...it doesn't matter if he signs on to fight the K bro's in 100 rematches...he wouldn't win the first one anyway...he should have taken his payday and gone back to cruiser. Once he started fighting some of the heavyweight bums he realised he could survive and keep getting moderate paychecks without being killed as long as he stays away from Wlad and Vitali until they are getting senior citizen discounts at fast food places...guaranteed if he continues to duck Vitali and Vitali retires Haye will call him out and say he retired so he wouldn't have to fight him...classic coward!
Toney is right. Vitali priced the real deal David Haye out, and now he priced the Beast Valuev out. Toney is the truth, Vitali fights cans.
Yep $2.5M for Valuev is a joke... it should be $1.5M max. And Toney is right, Vitali fights tomato cans so why doesn't he fight him, he's a tomato can so he should be able to get beaten to a pulp by Vitali :huh
