James Toney is my favorite fighter of all time, BUT I'm unbiased enough to admit that this may be a bad style match up for Toney.
Pastor Dmitry is too Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack outboxes the somewhat pudgy guy who is admittedly very slick for Toney.
Yeah, stylewise Bivol is the kind of fighter who could manage to outpoint him. Someone like Canelo, who's volume has dropped at higher weight classes, would probably never beat Toney at his own game, but a guy who is willing to box and move might be able to outpoint him. With Toney you also have to add the fact that he could be pretty inconsistent.
He arguably won both of those fights........also, Bivol isn't as crafty as little guy Griffin, Original question: At 175 though I'd go with Bivol, Toney languished in oblivion at the weight, and just was sluggish and not very good. At SMW, the Toney that destroyed Barkley, Tim Littles, Prince Charles etc.........would dominate Bivol. But ya never really know, Toney, you never know what performance you'd get from him (I say that with him being one of my favorite fighters of all time)
