I scored it 116-111 Toney. Most of Peter's stuff was not landing clean and Toney countered him all night. Peter also rabbit punched a lot.

Close, could've gone either way. Peter shots had more of an effect, Toney landed more lighter shots. Depends what you were looking for. I had Peter winning by 1 round.

    How did I contradict myself?

I scored it 115-112 for toney...It could go the other way though b/c there were a lot of close rounds. Thus, it's not a robbery.

Same thing w/ pacman-marquez fights. I had both for marquez but there were enough close rounds that either fighter winning a close decision is a legit outcome.

It was a really close fight, depending how you like to judge fights, I myself had Peter winning by 1 point at the end, but I could see it being a draw or Toney winning as well. I thought both men landed pretty clean shots on the other, especially early on when Peter had Toney seriously hurt, to the point where James had to hang on to the ropes to stay up.

I feel a rematch was needed, to prove who the better man was, Peter destroyed Toney, even flooring him, to put an exclamation point on a his best fight to date.

Yeah but most of Peter's punches did not land clean. Is that irrelevant to you?

I am not even gonna bother discussing with you again. You have already been exposed as being totally inobjective with regard to Toney fights.

    Exactly:good

Toney landed a lot of hard shots. But many of them, Peter didn't flinch.

Peter landed some hard shots. Toney was staggered a couple times.

A good # rounds it was Toney peppering his jab pretty accurately vs. Peter wild shots w/ 10% landing.

I'm a big Peter fan, but to be honest, when the final bell sounded, I really didnt know who won. I thought the fight was pretty even, with Peter landing the more telling blows, and Toney landing more I believe. I feel either way, there needed to be a rematch, and Peter took it to the next level and his best showing of his career.
