Yeah if stopping guy in two and beating former world title challenger 100-90 in all score cards is considered life and death struggle

That's good. If Hopkins and Tarver can be at the top in their 40's, then so can Toney. It was probably that embarrassing MMA loss that got him motivated and serious again.

This is excellent news. He has looked sluggish in the ring lately but with 50 lbs less blubber he can maybe have a good couple of years to end his career. I'm not sure if he can make the CW limit but i've wanted him to come in around 210 at HW for years...

Keep up the good work JT!

I never thought I'd see it again but he looks in decent shape. His arms look huge bigger than they have ever been when he was around that weight before. He hasn't looked good for some time I hope the weight loss hasn't ruined him like other fighters.

I don't expect him to be the same fighter as before but Tarver/Toney or Hopkins/Toney are 2 fights I would definitely want to watch.

He looks like Rick Ross lite. That being said, James Toney will always be one of my favorite fighters.

    Damn! He's in nice shape.

I was wrong ridiculing his chances to get fit.

Wow. I was firmly entrenched in the belief that he was going to fade into obscurity horribly overweight. Almost looks shopped like his first UFC promo picture.lol.

I love James Toney and am glad to see him in good shape but he still shouldn't be fighting anymore.

MMA fight or not, Ken is completely toasted. If James is with an actual MMA trainer, he'll probably have him smack Ken's already dead legs with kicks and set him up for a KO. Fight is meaningless really and James should try and get legit boxing fights again.

**** Toney. He already disgraced boxing twice by juicing, he made headlines where great moments like Corrales-Castillo didn't. He then disgraced boxing again signing to a sure-loss in MMA, so now, probably juicing, the last thing we need is Toney coming back and doing good in the ring, because how would that make boxing look following his 15 second MMA loss?
