"Great" is a word that is subjective for the most part. Everyone is different and feel term "Greatness" can mean very different things, but the US is GREAT b/c of the people who make up the United States. We have great resources, Great land marks, Great infastructure, Great innovation, Great Public and private organizations and overall great People. But you may have a different view of "Greatness".

No one still uses Greek law...besides the Greek and that has been updated and revamped over time. Everyone for the most part has made their law of the lands fit the people and the ideas in which their nation or country is made up or built upon.

Our blood line for the most part is European and the scientists, inventors and philosphers who are "AMERICAN" are proud US citizens. We know where we came from...that is not disputed, just like the US being the #1 Power in the world is not disputed. And there are "NATIVE" americans with the blood line of europeans that have contributed great inventions and great Global innovations in which the world embraces. Nuff said about that.

You act as if your own goverment isn't itself a "Propoganda Machine". Who not only takes the US side on most everything...they "FOLLOW THE LEADER" so to speak. We do, then you follow suit.
