Did no one else see Ryan Rhodes look for that KO shot that took Jamie from about the second? I said to my friend when Jim Watt was waffling drivel saying Rhodes was fighting the wrong fight that he was looking for that exact shot that put Moore to the floor the first time and also said eventually he would find the opportunity, you could see him looking for Moore to be wide open and get his full power behind it but he was patient in his waiting for it.
Jamie Moore was absolutely shattered from round 3 onwards. What a fight though, both absolute warriors, both took huge shots, how Rhodes stayed up i have no idea! I had Moore far in front before the stoppage as well. Would've liked to see it carry on but at the end of the day the referee has to take the safety of the fighter into consideration and those were some damaging shots he was taking, maybe should've taken a knee. Gutted for Moore though...
That shot that put Moore down the first time was something else - he just tumbled over and Rhodes was so cool about it. He knew he'd done him. Ok, Moore came back strong, but from that point on, Rhodes knew he could catch him and finish him. What a fight.
