I don't ever want to meet a guy who looks like that:yikes He might lure me to "the dark side":barf:barf
lol im abit like that, but i say to myself y am i judging them for.... i am anywhere in between 100 - 110 depending how hard im training and what ever, a theory i go by, if she doesnt make my night atleast make hers hahaha.... but honest go for a chick with a nice rack, not a big girl but just a nice chest and u will see a difference u will like... a face is very important and a smile i dnt care what anyone says... if she has a ugly face its not the same lol
Probably one young fighter im not a huge fan of. A bit ahead of himself I reckon. You all bag mundine, but if you knew this guys antics..
ah. i didnt make it out to be that sorta inside goss!! australian up & comer & talented yes. Probably not the person we'd relate to. Look at any ring entrance & you'll see. eg If youre fighting in front of millions at the msg, maybe.. but some dodgy little rsl why would you have a 20 man entourage? :-(
Dissappointing mate, you made it sound like you know something noone else does. If he fights crazy good then i can relate to that, if he wants to have a big entrance to his fights then i don't see why anyone should have a problem with that. I read a story about him not too long ago that he works 3 jobs while trying to be a pro fighter, that's an aussie battler right there, nothing but respect.
Ive got a good feeling about this fight. I think Pitty can pull it off but he has a style that could easily see him robbed because he boxes quite conservatively. He has to really bash Sturm in there and I think he can do that to. GO JAMIE!!!!!!
It wasnt just a story of 'i saw his entrance once' either... it was just an example. but its an inidication. bit 'up himself'. bit like mundine. pittman nuthuggers to come out of the woodwork...
The guy is just trying to create some excitement for his fights... Lets be reasonable here. I am definitely not a nuthugger, just a fan who wants to see him do well. I realise his limitations. Still, he is another top Aussie fighter competing on the world stage. Good luck to him. All boxers are going to be confident, it comes with the job... You wouldn't be much of a fighter if you didn't come with high confidence in your own ability. Maybe you have had dealings with him where he has come across the wrong way, fair enough. To compare him to Choc though in terms of egotism is a pretty big stetch IMO.
mate, your argument is weak. if you are going down the "regional titles" line then you really don't know boxing. regional bodies will sanction almost any fight, as long as you are willing to pay the sanctioning fees. just because Nievas didn't pay the fees for a title, you think he isn't as good as pittman? For his regional titles, he has gone 12 rounds with Andreas Seran (6-4-1) Tshepo Mashego (15-7-1) and Nonoy Gonzalez (22-19-2). real household names there.............. even if he is better than Nievas, this fight is still a mismatch and should not be sanctioned. Sturm will win KO 6.
turm-Pittman Presser! WBA middleweight championship clash Saturday March 31, 2008 Photos: Marianne Müller WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm (28-2-1, 12 KOs) returns on Saturday to face unbeaten Jamie Pittman (16-0, 7 KOs) in the "Universum Champions Night" headliner at the Burg-Wächter Castello in Dusseldorf. It will be Sturm's first fight since retaining his title via a draw against mandatory challenger Randy Griffin in October. Sturm, Pittman and the other featured fighters spoke at today's prefight press conference. Felix Sturm: "I've had three months preparation and feel excellent. With Pittman, I have a top opponent before me who is also very big and a southpaw. In any case, as always, I am prepared to go twelve rounds. The people who have a ticket for this nearly sold out promotion will see a great performence from me. We've incorporated something new in the preparation and my motivation could't be greater. I'm fighting for my team and my large family. Becoming a world champion is easier than always having to defend it against hungry challengers." Trainer Michael Timm: "As always, it was nice to work with Felix. He is always improving and gets the most out of his body. He is fully focused and will fight professionally. We've battened down the hatches and have not had any distractions." Jamie Pittman: "I've already been in Germany four times at amateur tournaments. I have great respect for Felix as a world champion, but I am hungrier than Felix. My passion is boxing and with fitness, a lot of heart and hunger, I will dethrone Felix. My nickname 'Mr. Business' comes from my very professional attitude which I bring to my business of boxing." In a second world title fight, WIBF junior flyweight female champion Julia "Sunshine" Sahin (19-0, 2 KOs) defends against Yahaira Martinez (7-1, 4 KOs). Sahin, who was given a leave of absence from her job with the Cologne Rapid Transit, will be returning after recovering from operations on both knees. Julia Sahin: "I'm looking forward to Dusseldorf, particularly because of the good memories of my fights that I had here. My fitness is complete again. Among other things, I had two good sparring partners and a very realistic fight preparation." Trainer Michael Timm: "Julia is a great fighter. She survived two operations with a lot of fighting spirit. Yahaira Martinez: "I haven't had a big preparation as I have been boxing my whole life. I will take the title and send Julia Sahin into a well-deserved retirement. Then she can return fulltime to her employer." Also, #1 rated super middleweight Jürgen Brähmer (30-1, 24 KOs) will face Frenchman Karim Bennama (17-9-2, 4 KOs). Jürgen Brähmer: "I'm having a fight at light heavyweight to see how I feel there. So this time I don't need to concentrate on making the weight." In other action, German super welter titleholder Maurice Weber (10-0, 3 KOs) faces Daniel Käfer (8-3-2, 4 KOs) in a rematch. Weber previously won a decision over Käfer. Also scheduled are unbeaten middleweight Gennady Golovkin (10-0, 9 KOs) against Ian Gardner (20-3, 8 KOs), unbeaten heavyweight Vladimir Tereshkin (8-0, 5 KOs) has his toughest opponent in Adnan Serin (19-8, 7 KOs), cruiserweight Patrick Dobroschi (4-0, 1 KO) goes against Marian Marias (3-4, 1 KO), local heavyweight Markus Tomala makes his pro debut against Marek Zelo (2-17-4, 1 KO) and the comeback of Manuel Charr (7-0, 4 KOs) begins against Aleksandrs Selezens (1-2). Charr is now being trained by Fritz Sdunek. Except for a few single tickets, the event is sold out.
