Views on Anderson? He's probably a couple fights away from competing at world level/top 10 contenders. Unbeaten, 15 wins with 14 KOs. Can he go on to become a World Champion? USA have been crying out for someone to dominate the heavyweight division like they used to in the 90s with Tyson and Holyfield.

What is Jared's level and how far can he go?

He will, if Joshua could be the champion, then so can Anderson.

I don't see him beating the likes of Usyk or Fury but if they both retire and the titles split then he could pick up a title. If the likes of Charles Martin can win a title with the right backing he could pick up a belt.

But right now I don't see him as a fighter than will dominate the division and be undisputed or even unified. He has youth and athleticism on his side so maybe he can develop into a better fighter but right now I see him as another Parker level fighter. Naturally talented but lacking skills to make the most of his gifts. He relies on his speed too much, his defence needs improving, he doesn't know how to counter punch, his feet work is mediocre, balanced but not much agility, too wide a stance.

After the retirement of Usyk and Fury, many will be able to win the title, it should then be mostly even because there will be no one who will stand out with quality like Usyk and Fury are now..

At only 23, barring injury, I would be surprised if he doesn't win at least one version of the heavyweight title.

Anderson can be bought along slowly with no need to even challenge Fury, Usyk, Wilder or Joshua, who will all be long retired before he even reaches 30.

he could still pick up a vacant belt in the future. The standard of heavyweights seems to be getting lower

The best under 25 guy out there so I'd say yes although could be several years away.

Straps war will soon begin with most of the big names nearing retirement.

At his current level he might nab a vacant belt once one of the established beltholders retires or relinquishes it for whatever reason, and he might also go on to be a legit champ if he improves from here on till about his late twenties/early thirties. Thought I agree with the poster who likens him to Parker. He seems like a guy too in love with his own speed and power (which are above average though nothing outstanding) and isn't really working on becoming a well-rounded fighter. Also like Parker he fights with his chin up in the air and moves back in straight lines. Not a good sign.

I like him though, and provided he doesn't become a duckin' n' swerving diva and continues to step it up (after the Rudenko farce obviously) then I'll be wishing him well. He might not be the most talented fighter around but he's got guts and fights with heart, which is always welcome in the HW division.

Personally no I don’t see it, all this talk of him wanting to be retired at 28 tells me his hearts not fully in it and he has a long way to go. I’d heavily favour Richard Torres who beat him in the amateurs to destroy him in the pros even now.

Fun fighter but too one dimensional, loads up on his shots too much and a little bit telegraphed.

I think he’s a long way off the top level and I’d favour fighters like Andy Ruiz to KO him.

He has promotion on his side, and based on the previous states' champ in Wilder, it's clear that it can take him far. The Ring already has him as #10 heavyweight in the wold (but it's not like they are biased towards USA fighters in their rankings.)

Sure, what not? He's young and talented and has OG Bob pulling the strings for him.

He’s definitely entertaining to watch and has the potential to win a world title. Bit strange they passed on the kossobutsky fight though, makes me think he’s got some problems in the chin department

He needs to improve a lot if he wants to be a champ. All you need to do to beat him is get him on the backfoot.

I was high on him but he was disappointing in the Charles Martin fight, I’m not sure he is mentally stable enough to stay on top, he might get there but the pressure will most likely break him.
