This was a mega fight in 2019 before Andy Ruiz and a failed drug test spoiled the bout. It's more interesting than ever now. Both fighters had mixed results against Ruiz, with Joshua getting stopped by the hungry contender version, outpointing the untrained obese version, and Miller drawing with the rejuvenated but rich and perhaps less hungry version. Both fighters were stopped by Dubois; Miller TKO'd in the final round of a war, Joshua repeatedly dropped, outboxed, and brutally KO'd. Miller has had a decent comeback streak after the Dubois loss. Joshua less so as he's only fought a circus fight against Jake Paul. Now is the time for this fight to happen. A true crossroads fight that the fans have wanted since 2019. While Joshua would've been the favorite 7 years ago, today I like what I'm seeing from Miller in terms of heart and toughness. He's got WAR written on his trunks and he means it. I think that spells trouble for a Joshua who has been beaten down and is trying to fight in a sophisticated style that he doesn't seem to have the talent for. Joshua has a power edge, but hasn't shown that power in a long time. I don't rate stopping an MMA fighter and Wallin who was destroyed by a 41 year old Chisora too highly. Miller can surely last as long as a Franklin type. My prediction is Miller by TKO11.
I was betting $1000, no joke, on Miller to win in 2019. Drug testing is SOB . Right now, it is hard to say.
I think due to weight and work rate, I think Miller is a very tough fight for any HW As for who would win, I would favour Joshua but think it could be tough
Who would win right now? Hard to say due to AJ’s inactivity and how that car crash might be effecting him mentally and physically. Miller being the active fighter might give him the slight edge
Ruiz performances since the Joshua loss have been poor tbh, Hearn said it’s Wilder next then Fury but I’d be happy to see Joshua v Miller also .
Its going to be interesting to see who Joshua does fight next,Hearn says Wilder but I’d be surprised if it was him tbh .
Miller isn't a bad fighter but people are overrating him at the moment. If the two fought, I genuinely see a very similar outcome to how Dubois beat Miller. It would be a sensible tune-up for AJ, if not Miller who else? Not bloody Cassius Chaney please.
Joshua has been emotionally unstable since the accident, I don't see him accepting this fight let alone winning if it happens...
I was having a bit of fun but Paul is rated in the USA HW top 15 on boxrec Considering there is something like 362 other USA HW boxers listed, that doesn't sound bad
