Maloney should win I don't know much about the other guy. Maloney or his brother was robbed of a world title.
I really like Jason Moloney; he's very offensive, his handspeed are very good, and his combinations are intelligent in the ring. He have a beautiful boxing style, even if many criticize the fact that he throws a combination and then clinches to prevent his opponent from launching a counter-attack. But that doesn't stop him from being very entertaining. I think he'll win by unanimous decision. I think he should face Emmanuel Rodriguez for a rematch, or else try for the IBF title against Jose Salas Reyes (I imagine that's his main goal). Honestly, it's now or never to beat the young Mexican champion because his boxing style is improving, this Mexican will be a serious problem after.
Are you talking about the Pedro Guevara vs. Andrew Moloney fight? It was a close decision, but Guevara deserved the win. Same for Yoshiki Takei vs. Jason Moloney; Takei deserved the victory. I honestly don't see where the twin brothers was robbed in world championship or eliminator... But both brothers are definitely world-class, even if Jason Moloney have a better professional career. Yes the second fight of Andrew Moloney against Joshua Franco, but to be honest it was a NC gift decision for Andrew Moloney here, Joshua Franco beat him twice one after that and one before that NC.... And Joshua Franco at this period was probably one of the five best 115 lbs of the world, after Junto Nakatani, Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez", Kazuto Ioka,Juan Francisco Estrada.
