This would be a great fight, Chavez was the man back in the day and I am old enough to have seen Chavez through his entire career, I remember back when he destroyed Roger Mayweather in 2 rounds. I remember watching him DESTROY Edwin Rosario who at the time many thought could beat him. Taylor had him, but Taylor had some of the fastest hands I have ever seen in 25+ years of watching boxing. Other then that fight it seems like Chavez dominated everyone until he met Whitaker another great boxer who was also a southpaw and a defensive genius. After this point Chavez struggled with Randall and many others as he was clearly well past his prime. In Pac we have a great fighter with Big Power and fast hands and great stamina. Chavez was not as heavy a puncher as Pac I don't believe but had a greater Chin, I don't know that I EVER saw Chavez hurt when at his best. Chavez also had amazing stamina. This would be a tough fight but if I had to pick I would say Chavez wins by a late tko or Decision.
