Well I would categorieze Johnson with the shitty looking boxer. He hasn't looked good for years despite the Allen Green KO, which wasn't much of a victory in my eyes. I mean don't get me wrong Allen Green good boxer, but a club fighter. And besides the only reason Johnson got into the tourny is because Taylor withdrew, and Showtime needed a fill in with a name. Glen Johnson hasn't been a legitement contender in years, please....

Bute still has business to attend to at 168. Pascal should concentrate on 175, unless he's considering fighting Bute at 168.

Either way, it should be a good fight and I think it will be made in the future.

In regards to Bute himself, unlike his haters and dickriders, I don't love or hate the man, but I would like to see who the best fighter at 168 is.

And to me, it's clear it's between Ward, Froch, and Bute.

I am a fan of Pascal and a bit of a Bute hater actually..
I like Pascal's fighting style, how he throws his punches in "bursts", it looks great when he land those, it is also a style that you dont see so often, most is setting punches up, using 1-2's tries to counter etc..
I know Pascal is a loud mouth when it comes to the media, he can sometimes act a bit immature.. BUT i will say this, there havent been as much drama with him when it came to make the big fights, i know this isnt all Bute's fault, but it just seems like Pascal and his promoter is more willing to make big fights.

wouldn't you rather see kessler vs bute than a pascal vs bute first?

    Yes i probably would..
But Bute-Pascal, Bute-Kessler and Pascal-Kessler would be excellent imo..
But yeah, Kessler-Bute would probably be bigger.. But i would just like to see Bute against a real champion, i dont think his resume is as bad as people makes it, but he do need to test himself and fight some top tier opponent..
I mean, Froch, Kessler, Pascal and Ward have been fighting the best available.. I think Bute should do the same.. But again, it takes two people to make a fight, but.. There is just something rotten about Bute and his match making/excuses--

Pascal isn't bigger than Bute. I'm certain they pretty much weight the same on fight night.

This would be a good fight BTW. But I guess it won't happen for the next 2 years.

Abraham was a good talent when he entered the super 6, and Jermain Taylor was on the slide but still a good fighter, much better then Johnson, lets be honest, johnson got lucky in the Jones fight and in the Tarver fight Tarver wasn't in shape. Johnson has one credible victory over Yusaf Mack, who has proven just like Allen Green that he can't handle top competition.

So, basically you say Bute is overated because he didn't KOed Jhonson, a shitty boxer, the same shitty boxer that KOed Green, the same Green Ward couldn't KO? Using your algorithm it seems like you are overeating Ward over here.

That isn't Ward's style, the whole reason people loath over Bute is because he is 'exciting' with 'One-Punch KO Power' who is able to 'Finish a figher at any given moment with one shot.' Keep buildin him up boys:good

elasticity, punching power, chin major factors in boxing..
so i'd agree with that too, naturally Abraham is pretty talented imo
I remember Roach once had him in his p4p top5 head2head who knows what would have happened if he had an advanced trainer..
He gave Dirrell all he could handle scored two knockdowns the hometown ref refused to acknowledge. The fight with Ward was much closer than the official cards reflected as well, he tested Wards chin and gave him more trouble than Kessler. not bad for someone who has never really learnt how to box. Whether Froch broke him remains to be seen but i suspect yes since hes about to flee out of the division
