I meant why would you rather see Bute fight a guy like Dirrell or Kessler, who are both coming off injuries, than Pascal.

To me, that makes no sense.

If you said Andre Ward or Carl Froch, I can understand. But Dirrell and Kessler just pulled out of the tournament.

Personally, I don't want to see this fight right now because I don't want to see neither of them destroy eachother before they are very big names.:rasta

But I would still enjoy the fight and want it to be a draw!

The truth is that the first Diaconu fight was exciting as hell and that the second was even more exciting because one of Pascal's shoulders popped 3 times during the fight and he still managed to win by a higher margin compared to the first bout.

You should not be ashamed, your boy simply got beaten by a better boxer. Pascal evolved a lot since the Froch fight and he's now one of the best in the sport to steal rounds by doing just enough, plus he's got a titanium heart!:happy

If Pascal is "arrogant" for showing confidence in himself and his love of the sport then I welcome his "arrogance".

Here is a guy who is considered the true Lt. Heavy Champion, still wanting more, still showing hunger. When most fighters maneuver to grab a belt, and then milk the living daylights out of it, taking advantage of poor rankings, politics etc.

Pascal strikes me as someone who will fight anyone, anytime. Just look at his resume from the past couple of years. That is not arrogance, that is a breath of fresh air.

Pascal is always calling other boxers great challenges, great champions, great fighters, etc. He gives alot of credit to other fighters but he also wants to fight them.

Kessler is probably done based on the lastest reports, I agree, but Dirrell I say is just on a non declared vacation at this point...

I would love to see Dirrell-Bute, and I would love to see it now because I highly doubt that it will ever be made if it's not under the present SHOWTIME agreement.

Bottom line, if Kessler and Dirrell could fight again sooner than later, I would favor seeing them with Bute...as time is anyways running out concerning a fight with Kessler and it might eventually turn to be an unlikely scenario with Dirrell...for all kinds of stupid reasons.

I have no problem with him at all personality wise and I like the fact that we have at least one trash talker that backs it up here in the province.

But I also know from a good source that Pascal was often truly full of himself when not in public. It was not described as confidence but rather pure arrogance. I was not there, therefore can't attest to it but I trust the person that went to police tech with him day in day out...

    Just saying...

Yes and when he does some talking, he is fully willing to back up that talk. He even gives full credit to Froch for his one loss and fully admits he lost it. No excuses, no bull.

He took his loss like a man and then threw himself right back in with the wolves. He is willing to fight the best out there and his promotional team are not trying to protect him. All the power to him. I wish there was more like him.

There was a time when i did not like the guy. I considered him all talk. Well he showed he backs up that talk. He earned my respect.

He may have a chip on his shoulder. Given his profession though that is a good trait to have. I don't care about his personal life. I like the fact that he has a truly old school fighter mindset. He is willing to fight the hardest fights and willing to take the hard road. If more fighters these days had his mindset, this sport would bounce back and be cherished by the masses again.

That's because he has zero class...as a person not as a boxer...

    Pascal?

Oh, I see... A die-hard Diaconu fan. At least 90% of his haters are like you.

Rumours like that mean nothing. The opinion of 1 guy doesn't mean anything at all! I mean he could be that one guy that Pascal stepped on his foot and didn't say sorry.

I saw Pascal once with his friends and he looked like he was just a regular guy having fun with his friends and spending the money he's earned.
