The use of "sucker punch" makes me think he doesn't know what he's on about.

That said, I'm not as confident as some that Garcia will stop Khan in a rematch. I'm not convinced by Garcia's power at all. Everyone talks about this left hook he's got, but its not like he's stopping everyone out there. He went 12 rounds with the chinny Kendall Holt not so long ago. I'm not sure he'll stop Judah either to be honest, though he obviously should do. Records can be deceptive but 16 KOs in 25 fights is an indication of solid but unspectacular power, which I think is what Garcia has. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a Khan rematch go the distance.

You don't need spectacular power to knock out Khan, just good timing, which Garcia has.

I'm not so sure it'll be as decisive either Jack, but given that Amir had his chin high and got involved a few times when he didn't have to,how can he suggest the odds are lengthy when the rest of the column gives no suggestion as to why?
And the "sucker punch" bull**** is atypical of Powell.

The daily fail and sun are complete shite, but I do check their websites daily because they usually have pictures of some celeb with a wardrobe malfunction

Garcia is being way overrated by some people, his movement is poor. A Judah upper cut make take care of Garcia before he even fights Khan.

Yeah, I know what you mean, mate. I think if Khan can avoid a stupid shot, he'll see the final bell but that's not a certainty at all. Matthysse is a puncher who hits hard enough to not rel on perfect shots, but unless Garcia lands one right on the button, I don't think he'll stop many elite guys.

I used to think Lucas moved too straight for Amir but now I reckon he could be an apocalyptic opponent.

To be fair it's just nice to see an article in the Daily Mail which isn't anti-Islamic.

Matthysse style wise is Amir's worse possible opponent, he is a lot more skilled than given credit for, he's a lot better than Maidana for intstance, better movement, has good ring savy and every punch is thrown with bad intentions.

    Good fighter.

Did he use "sucker punch" as an insult, its difficult to tell out of context. To me a "sucker punch" is the result of a well laid trap and is really a compliment

Gareth A Davies has some glaring inaccuracies in his articles but I agree he is alright overall
