    Not neccesarily. From what I hear, t's already been determined that the finals will be in the States. The higher seed gets a home fight in the Semi-Finals. If Ward beats Dirrell, he'll never have to leave the U.S during the tourney.

    so not haveing to travel half the world, train in an unknown gym, stay in some random hotel, eating foreign food.....none of this is an advantage?

    Not really. A good deal of this sport is mental. If a fighter can't get over those minor mental hurdles, how the hell is he going to succeed in the ring? Are you going to tell me Taylor traveling to Germany is why Taylor got knocked out? The only guys that have been affected by traveling to someone else's hometown are Froch and Dirrell. It evened out for Froch, so Dirrell is the only real victim of home cooking.

    froch won that fight in a close one,stop ****ing complaining all the time.even the ring mag had froch winning.

    maybe if dirrell had fought rather than took flight he would have got the win.

    I forgot, The Ring Magazine is infalible.:roll: The only one bitching is you. My only point is that there are only two fights that were close enough to be effected by the actual location of the fight; meaning that the result of the fight may have been different had the fight taken place in a different location. Froch was at both the winning and losing end of a close decsion where the home fighter won, so it evens out for him.
