    It's not about the nationality of the judges, it's about the crowd. In a close fight, the judges can be swayed by the crowd.

    BigReg you're an absolute mong if you think there is no disadvantage in travelling half way round the world, a new hotel, new customs, new food, new sleeping pattern, jet lag etc. Then you get into the arena and have 10,000 of your opponents fans baying for your blood.

    If there is no disadvantage, why did Ward demand all his fights are in Oakland?

    I'll take that back, it's an advantage, but not a big advantage unless the fight is close. Ward never demanded anything. His promoter negotiated the home fight against Kessler. Kessler fought Froch in Denmark, and is fighting Green in Denmark. So had he fought Ward in Denmark, he would have 3 home fights. Ward got lucky. They negotiated the home fight against Kessler. Taylor dropped out, so there is no way that they would've went to Green's hometown given that he has no fanbase. Ward has stated that his fight against Dirrell will be in Vegas. Goosen said he's willing to have the fight in Michigan if it makes economic sense.

    Really? Why did they score Bradley vs. Witter a SD when Bradley clearly won. Many thought Dirrell beat Froch as well. I know Ring Magazine said otherwise, but we're both in agreement that they aren't infalible. Anywhere you go in the world, the hometown fighter usually gets the benefit of the doubt in close fights. The U.K is no exception. It's ridiculous to suggest other wise considering the judges come from all over the world.

    This is what I wrote earlier;

    "No, it's not an unfair advantage. It's only an advantage period if the fight is close. Neither of Ward's fights have been close. There's no way you can tell me Ward doesn't beat Kessler or Green no matter what the location is."

    You can apologize at any time as I clearly stated that it's advantage in a close fight.

    Nah, Vanderpool was not very good and his career is filled with win over no hopers and Sheika, was already washed up. Next you will give me the Sand man Pemberton as his best win???......:patsch

    When they SCHEDULE the fight, they have no idea how close the fight is going to be. If Ward won KO1 in both it's still unfair for one fighter not to have to travel into his opponents back yard, whereas the other five have to. Clear?

    Good points both Taylor and Lacy were willing to travel but so did Dirrell in fairness when losing to Froch.
    The problem is that none of these guys have done well when they left America. Id make the list

    1. Ward - He beat Kessler and deserves credit

    2. Taylor - Was winning against Froch and AA to some also before being KOd

    3. Lacy - Lost to Calzaghe (no shame in that) and lost to Taylor after Joe ruined him, but still has some good wins like Reid & Tsypko on his record

    4. Dirrell - Only big win is a DQ over a small former MW champ who hadnt beaten anyone of note, and lost to Froch, but is showing potential

    5. Green - Not sure he should be on here or not but for this list id put him at 5

    Robert, try and put down a point of view about the thread, rather than just making silly comments, look above your post for an example
