OK they were not stella performances by any stretch of the imagination, but he's won his last three fights, and got himself back in the position of a title eliminator. Having said that he does appear to be lacking in confidence, and the dilapidating shoulder injury has obviously taken away a lot of his power.

It's a pity, I was quite looking forward to the Taylor fight... but if his hearts no longer in it...

    Lacy-Taylor would've been a good fight.

I hope he doesn't retire. That was a very entertaining fight against Espinosa (sp) and I'm sure he has more fight left in him. Besides, he deserves the huge payday for a fight vs. Taylor.

Oh, please. They let the fight go to its natural conclusion, which is exactly what they should have done. I never get boxing fans complaining about fight that weren't stopped! Jeez, save it for the million premature stoppages. This game is really getting pussyfied. Fans should be thankful there are few real men left in this sport.:patsch

Now question is...what does Jermain Taylor do now ? The man should never sit out an entire year without fighting....Why not give him a confidence builder against a guy like Edison Miranda whom still has enough credibility to sell the fight well !!

good..he's becoming shitty anyway by looking at his last recent fights, its pretty clear he wouldn't be in the world level again. JT would have schooled his ass if they ever fought.

it would be good if he fought winky again at 168 this time. They're both inactive anyway

The sad part is several guys have an L on there records because Jeff Lacy is Jeff Lacy.

The business is shady as much as your fighting is iffy.

He has sucked in his last 3 fights. His stock has dramtically dropped.Maybe he overvalues himself while his handlers just cant get the kind of money he expects.

His credibility is long gone, you can only get knocked out so many times before people realize you're done.

So what about Allan Green even if I think he's lost in space and is probably dreaming of a million dollar pay check....
