Would make a WHOLE lot of sense. And for the record, I disagree with Floyd saying **** about his Dad too. But again, I'm sure I come from a very different background and family, and can't really talk much about it having not expierenced what having a bad family can be like. But personally, I wouldn't bad mouth anyone from my family... At least, not my immediate one.
Say what you want one-to-one, but going public and doing an interview dissing your family is just wrong. I agree with Jeff, Floyd is fake as ****, but no need to air out your dirty laundry in public. He didn't need to go public, but he did it anyway. Just seems like bitter grapes to me. The Mayweather's are ****ed.
I agree with you for the most part. I think it's one thing to tell someone in your family off to get them to straighten up and fly right. It's another thing to hold crusades and angst for years and years because your son hangs out with your brother more..or because your dad didn't hug you enough etc etc etc. Floyd is a gigantic act..no question...but he's just one act in the open drama we call The Mayweather family.
The hardcore fan I hope people read that little statement when Jeff says the in order for Mayweather to win the herats of the hardcore fan he will have to fight the best fihgters in his weight class. That is all anyone really has to do to win the respect of the hardcore fan, the willingness to take the chance and fight the best something fighters today with a few exceptions fighters rarely do anymore
Since when is being honest about his family and what he thinks bad mouthing his family? It's not like Mayweather Jr. is some do-gooder who's getting bad mouthed for no reason at all. Besides, you Mayweather protector/apologists don't really know **** abut Mayweather unless it's told to you in some article. Jeff probably knows a little more about their family then you guys do.
the Mayweathers are just another dysfunctional family, no big deal. Floyd tries too hard to be a hard man and all this ghetto nonsense, who gives a ****? This and the fact he breaks down crying so easily are signs of a spolit brat, he's just an underdeveloped human being thanks to being cocooned in a comfortable bubble for so long.
