I really didnt care for Taylor.
I found him boring and thought that he was trying to milk boxing just for the money.
But to come straight back at Pavlic after being knocked out was courageous.
Taylor not only goes the distance, but came to win, falling just a tad short.
    Good for him.
    Now for Kelly Pavlic,
these kind of fights will make him better.

    :good :good :good

It was a good fight! Both came really prepared! Even though Palvic won, I also give credit to Jarmain for a good fight!

Orishaman -- your orignal post is on the money. I am without a doubt one of Pavlik's most ardent fans, but I too thought 117-111 was out of line. I had it 116-112, and would not argue with 115-113, but I also recognize my own bias. I was very nervous while wating for the decision. A very good, hard, technical fight by two first class warriors.:good

And you're right that Pavlik "took" the fight from Jermain. I think the fight said a lot of good things about both fighters. Mainly we now know that Pavlik can keep his head together over 12 gruelng rounds. We also now know that JT can still learn, grow, and adjust.
