Taylor is not a smart fighter. He's a front runner type. If things are going his way he looks great. He has the tools; but, Taylor can not adapt. When it gets rough, Taylor falls apart. If Manny Steward could not help JT learn new tricks, I'm not sure anyone can.

Finished as "The Attraction" I agree.
But if put in with any of the top 160/168lbs Jermain is still a threat to them all. IMO
I can defo see some champions getting froggy & take JT as a marquee opponent and get worked over.

If JT did not run out of gas, he'd have won. But alas, Taylor's never been known for having great stamina, and it cost him many a time.

He still has what it takes to be a champ again, he just lacks stamina. He needs to seriously work on that as much as he can.

I'm not saying finished talent wise...I just am assuming that mentally, these fights that he could have/ should have one might take too much out of him. He doesn't seem to deal with adversity very well, imo.

What do you think he needs to do? Like, I'm sure he does road work, and sparing, but what do you think could help that?

are you out of your mind? i agree with you that he will beat froch in a rematch as long as he keeps a better pace and is mindful of his crappy stamina, but knocking out joe calzaghe and beating chad dawson??? those statements are just a little ridiculous to be honest.

Taylor fought a GREAT fight. He took Froch too school and I feel completely dominated him. Only when Taylor tired did Froch start to come through.

Taylor needs to improve his stamina and that's all. He has buckets of skill and talent. And He should train for 15 round fights and just push himself to another level.

Carl Froch lost that match he KO'd an exhausted Taylor and should count himself EXTREMELY lucky he still holds the belt.

i don't see how he's done in any way. Its just a question of rebuilding against the right opponents.

    I hope so buddy! :good

You on target a hell of a good percentage of the time, I'd be tickled if this is another one.:yep

He might even have to go do a FNF or two you know? Like Edison Miranda did. And Zab has done. Go do what you gotta do to get the train back on the best track.
