Doubtful, although he might very well win by decision.

Not in germany. I have a bad feeling even if everyone thought Taylor won the fight, the judges in germany will give it to Abraham.

If Taylor team is intelligent, they agreed to be part of the tournament with some guarantees. The referee and the judges are part of the negociation at that level. I'm not too worried in that case. Showtime would have too much to lose for that to happen.

this fight is going to be much more competitive than people think on JT's side of the equation if he comes truly prepared to thump the full 12. thats a big IF

I can't see him stopping abraham,
But I think taylor will win by UD I think he will dominate most of the fight but the scorecards will have it a lot closer due to it being in germany.

I fancy him to win on points, and i dont think the fact its in Germany will be a problem. The eyes of the world are on these fights and too much money is involved for the tournament to be discredited in fight 1 by a dodgy decision. That said i would not expect any 50/50 rounds to go his way but dont think (hope) he will get robbed.

As for his lack of ko's you only have to look at the opponents to see its not clear cut. And to be fair with more of a killer instinct he could have maybe forced the stoppage against Pav and Froch.

Let's see... hurt Hopkins, knocked down Pavlik hard, shocked Froch and put him on the canvas - speed, accuracy and physical abilities make Taylor's power pretty good, he's just reluctant to go for the knockout. He can hury anyone and that includes Arhur Abraham, who's moving up. But can he close the show?

i believe the last person he koed was daniel edourd, although if the referee was not steve smoger he probably wouldv'e stopped pavlik right there in the second round. smoger always gives fighters a chance to continue.

that's true, we all know he has some power, but i think for a puncher boxer like him could affect him mentally.

This has been the question all along. Seems by this time they should have been announced? No?
