According to Ozell Nelson at this time Jermain can do 500 pound leg presses with ease. Thinking of a version of JT with really strong legs, who sit down on his punches a little better, is actually rather frightening.

We can chalk up a lot of Jermain's power issues to his competition level. When the best fight the best that often happens! He had KP in serious trouble and knocked down a Froch who had never tasted the canvas. JT has always been a boxer first, relying on that piston like jab to dictate the fight.
Maybe a lot of AA's power on the other hand, can be because of his opp. Take nothing away from him though, he is as tough as nails and the home field advantage could be huge!
I've met JT a few times and he is a classy man. I hope that he can exercise some of his demons Saturday night. This may be coming from my heart, but I have JT winning 8-4. If he can get past AA look out for him the rest of the tourny!
