Size only matters to a certain degree.Skills pay the bills and Hagler is a much better fighter than Taylor. I think Hagler would have stopped Taylor.

The size difference between Duran and Barkley was even bigger. I think 83 Duran would have beaten Taylor because he was more skilled.
Taylor is mot a guy who moves much and that would play into Duran's hands.

Although Duran in 1983 could be interesting SD win for Taylor, but the speed of Taylor I can see win a decision.. 1989 Duran? UD for TAylor. If Taylor were the same fighter at 154 in 1983 or 1984 as he was at 160,,, I pick Duran.

In my view Barkley was bigger. He looked huge for a middleweight. He was 6 ft 1 and eventually moved up all the way to heavyweight

Yeah, he seemed to struggle with all his defenses...and it wasn't until he fought Pavlik that he even scored a knockdown,...and we know what happened after that. Taylor's claim to fame,...his best accomplishments, were in beating Hopkins twice....and he deserved, in my opinion, both those fights. They were close, but not, as some fans wrongly maintain, deserved by Hopkins.

I'm not certain I wouldn't favor the blade against Taylor too.
